To make changes to a rider's profile, select the desired rider on the Riders page.
You can:
- Edit basic profile info
- Edit safety settings
- Add, delete, or edit assigned locations
- Add, delete, or edit contacts
Edit basic profile info
Follow the steps below to make changes to a rider's basic profile information.
- In the upper right, click Edit.

- Make any desired changes to the following, then click Save:

Edit Safety Settings and rider services
To make changes to a rider's safety settings or services, follow the steps below:
- On the Safety Settings panel, click Edit.

- Make any desired changes to the following, then click Save.

Add, delete, or edit assigned locations
Assigned Locations are addresses associated with a given rider. They can include a designated Primary Destination or Primary Residence, as well as other locations. Adding assigned locations to a rider's profile helps you quickly access relevant locations across RideIQ and manage Must Be Met settings for riders who require more support.
To add a new assigned location, on the Locations panel, click Add. Begin typing the location address, then select it from the dropdown or create a new Location. Confirm or enter the location details, then click Add.

To edit an assigned location, click the location name, then click Edit. Make any desired changes, then click Save.

To delete an assigned location, click the location name, then click Delete. It will be removed from the rider's profile but will still be available as a saved location. The change will not affect any scheduled rides.

Add, delete, or edit contacts
You can add two types of contact to a rider's profile: caregivers and emergency contacts. Caregivers receive text updates on ride progress and can be given permissions to allow them to to cancel or edit rides. They will also be the CareDriver's point of contact if they have trouble finding the rider at pickup. Emergency contacts do not receive updates, but can be an additional point of contact when trying to locate the rider.
To add a new Contact, on the locations panel, click Add. Enter the contact's information and click Save.

Note: Each contact must have a unique phone number. If a rider has contacts who share a phone number, enter both names as a single contact. |

To edit a contact, click the contact name, then click Edit. Make the desired changes, then click Save.
To delete a contact, click the contact name, then click Delete. Click Delete again to confirm.

Note: Each rider must have at least one Caregiver contact. You will not be able to delete a rider's only caregiver. If you want to replace a rider's caregiver, add the new caregiver first, then delete the old one. |
