Many rides take a rider to or from a regular destination, such as the school they attend. To save time, you can designate that address as their Primary Destination.
About Primary Destinations
When you create a ride for a rider with a Primary Destination assigned, that address will automatically be set as their drop-off location. For even more efficiency, you can also designate a Primary Residence for the rider, which will auto-populate as the pickup location. With the Primary Destination and Residence set, you can quickly set up rides without needing to select locations.
If you need to assign a different location, remove the auto-populated address by clicking the grey X and add a different location as usual.
How to assign a Primary Destination to a rider
To assign a Primary Destination to a rider, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the profile page of the desired rider.
- In Locations, select the desired Primary Destination from the list. If it does not appear on the list, click Add, then enter the address. Complete the location details, making sure to select School as the location type. Click Save.
- In Instructions for this rider, select This is the rider's primary destination, then click Save.
