When scheduling rides that include more than one Rider, you may need to include multiple stops so that individual Riders can be picked up from different locations. Watch the video or read below to learn how to schedule multi-stop rides in RideIQ.

Understanding multi-stop rides
Before scheduling a multi-stop ride, it is helpful to understand how the route type impacts the ride.
All Riders on a multi-stop ride must share at least one location. For a pickup ride, all Riders will be picked up at the same place. For a drop-off ride, all Riders will be dropped off at the same place.
For example:
- A drop-off ride where Jaime and Alice are each picked up at their own home and both dropped off at Wildwood Elementary at 7:55 AM.
- A pickup ride where Alex and Mason are both picked up from Cascade High School at 3:05 PM and each dropped off at their own home.
How to schedule a Ride Series with more than one pickup
Follow the steps below to schedule a Ride Series with more than one pickup location.
- On the Rides page, click Create Ride Series. Select the days of the week that rides will take place and the start and end date for the Ride Series.
- In Route, select Drop-off route. This will allow you to add multiple pickup Locations.
- Add up to four Riders to the pickup. You can add all Riders to the first pickup location even if you will eventually be assigning them different pickup locations.
Note: If you are creating a ride with four Riders, at least one Rider must be able to sit up front. Learn more about Rider Safety settings in this article. 
- Select a pickup location from the list, or create a new location. You can add any of the desired pickup locations to this first pickup.
- To add an additional pickup location, click Add another pickup.
- Select the Rider(s) to be picked up at the new pickup location. You can choose from Riders you've already added to the ride, or choose any saved Rider.
- Select the desired pickup location.
- Continue adding new pickup locations and assigning Riders until you have added all the desired pickup locations.
- Enter a drop-off time. This is the time all Riders will be dropped off.
- Select the drop-off location for all Riders.
- Review the map. If needed, click and drag the stops into the most efficient order.
- Click Save. When saving, you can select Save and Add Return Ride to automatically create a pickup route with the same Riders and the pickup and drop-off locations reversed. Learn more here.
