The route type of a Ride determines how the ride is scheduled: a pickup ride is scheduled around a specific pickup time, while a drop-off ride is scheduled around a specific drop-off time.
If needed, you can edit a ride or ride series to change the route type. Follow the steps below to edit the route type:
- Select the desired ride and click Edit. Note that a ride occurring within the next two hours cannot be edited unless it has not been claimed by a CareDriver.
- Select the desired route type. When you change the route type, all other settings for the ride will remain the same, including locations and time. Because of this, you may need to adjust the time so it is appropriate for the changed route type.
- Click Save to confirm your changes. If you are editing a ride series, select which rides to apply your changes to.
