If charges for a Rider are no longer shared between two school districts, you can remove shared billing for that Rider in RideIQ. Removing shared billing in RideIQ should happen after communication between the districts involved.

The Attending District is now responsible for all charges:
If the Attending District will now be responsible for the Rider's transportation costs, on the Rider's profile, click Edit, then click to clear This Rider's transportation costs are shared with another district. Click Confirm to verify that you want to remove shared billing for the Rider. The Attending District will now receive invoices for the full charges for the Rider. This change takes effect immediately for all future rides.

The Residence District is now responsible for all charges:
If the Rider's Residence District will now be responsible for the Rider's transportation costs, the Attending District can deactivate the Rider's profile. The Residence District must create a new Rider profile using their RideIQ account and schedule rides for the Rider.

The Rider no longer needs transportation through HopSkipDrive:
If the Rider has graduated, moved away, or otherwise no longer requires transportation, click Deactivate Rider on the Rider's profile. You can learn more about deactivating a Rider in this article.
