After adding shared billing for a Rider who has an existing Ride Series, you may see that the Ride Series is deleted and rides no longer appear in the Rides list.
This happens when the Rider is part of a multi-Rider series. A Rider with shared billing can only be part of a multi-Rider ride if all other Riders are shared with the same district. As a result, enabling shared billing will have the following impacts on a multi-Rider series:
- If you enable shared billing for all Riders, the series will be deleted unless any of the Riders are shared with the same district.
- If you enable shared billing for one Rider, that Rider will be removed from the series. The remaining Rider(s) on the series will not be affected.
This behavior is by design to ensure that billing can be processed correctly. After enabling shared billing for a Rider on a multi-Rider series, you must schedule a new Ride Series for the shared Rider. Keep in mind that most Riders will need an AM and a PM Ride Series.
