Any vehicle being used to provide services on the HopSkipDrive Platform must be in good operating condition and meet industry and all applicable statutory and state department of motor vehicle requirements for a vehicle of its kind.
The Daily Safety Check
Before providing a ride, CareDrivers must complete the Daily Safety Check, which includes a required review of key parts of your vehicle. If you discover any damage or issues during this check, use the provided form to report them.
Vehicle Maintenance
CareDrivers are expected to maintain the condition of the vehicle, including repairing any significant cosmetic damage. Any damage to the interior of a CareDriver’s vehicle that is caused by a rider must be reported within 24 hours of the incident.
Vehicle Inspections
Vehicles use to provide services with HopSkipDrive must pass a vehicle inspection every year or every 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Learn more about annual vehicle inspections here.
