All vehicles used by CareDrivers in Colorado must pass an inspection by an ASE-certified mechanic, such as Meineke Car Care Center. You may use the ASE-certified mechanic of your choice.
Even if you recently had your vehicle inspected, you must either have another inspection by an ASE-certified mechanic or provide proof that the mechanic who performed the inspection was ASE-certified.
How to get your vehicle inspected
Follow the steps below to complete the vehicle inspection:
- Make an appointment with the ASE-certified mechanic of your choice.
- Before leaving for the inspection, ensure your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) matches what is listed on your vehicle registration.
- Bring the HopSkipDrive Vehicle Inspection form to the appointment. You must use this inspection form. HopSkipDrive is unable to accept any other inspection form.
- Once the inspection is complete, upload a copy of the completed form using the CareDriver app.
