CareDrivers in Arizona must maintain a current Arizona IVP (Identity Verified Print) card. The IVP card is issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and is valid for six years.
Obtaining an Arizona IVP Card
To obtain an IVP card, apply through the Arizona Department of Public Safety website. Your card will be mailed to you. Please note that this process can take up to 20 days.
Renewing your Arizona IVP Card
As the expiration date of your IVP card approaches, you will receive reminders via email to renew starting 30 days before the card expires. The expiration date of your IVP card is printed on the physical card and can also be found through the AZ DPS Portal.
Apply to renew your card on the Arizona Department of Public Safety website.
