At HopSkipDrive, safety is our top priority. To ensure the safety of both you and your riders, all CareDrivers are required to pass an annual vehicle inspection for any vehicle used on the platform.
How to meet the inspection requirement
You have four options to complete your annual vehicle inspection. All approved inspections are valid for one year from the date listed on the report.
Option 1: Official State Inspection
You may submit an official vehicle inspection report from one of the following states:
-
Maryland: The official Maryland Safety Inspection Certificate is accepted.

- Virginia: The official Virginia State Safety Inspection report is accepted.
