All California CareDrivers are required to complete and pass a First Aid course through Heart Saver Institute. You can register for the First Aid Course directly through Heart Saver Institute here.
HopSkipDrive will credit you for the cost of your First Aid course (your first attempt ONLY). To request credit for your completed course, please click here. You will receive credit once you are a Certified CareDriver and complete your first ride.
| IMPORTANT: The First Aid course contains a quiz at the end. You must receive a score of 80% or higher to pass. You can only take the course and quiz one time; if you do not receive a score of 80% or higher, you will have to purchase the course again to retake it. HopSkipDrive will not cover the cost of any course retakes. |
Accessing your First Aid course certificate
You can access your completed First Aid Certificate directly in your dashboard on the HeartSaver Institute website. Note: It can take up to 24 hours for your First Aid certificate to show up.
If you need a copy of your receipt for your First Aid course, you can request it by emailing billing@heartsaverinstitute.com directly.
