To complete rides with the Ride Recording: In-App requirement, your phone must be mounted vertically on a stable phone mount.
Tips for adjusting your phone mount for Ride Recording: In-App
This article provides some tips for successfully setting up your phone and mount.
- To fit your phone in the mount, squeeze the buttons on either side of the lower part of the mount at the same time to expand the sides. Put your phone in the mount, then push the sides in to securely hold the phone. (Note that these instructions may not apply to all phone mounts.)
- Use the preview to confirm what is in frame. When you complete pickup for all riders at the first stop, you'll see a preview of what the camera is recording.
- Make sure both you and all riders are visible.
- If no one is sitting in the front passenger seat, pushing the passenger seat as far forward as possible will make it easier to get the full back seat in frame.
