Remove a Rider Assistant from a Ride

If you need to change the Rider Assistant assigned to a ride, you can remove the assigned Rider Assistant and assign a new Rider Assistant.

You can remove a Rider Assistant any time before the Rider Assistant is picked up.

If you must remove the currently assigned Rider Assistant and are not able to replace them with a new Rider Assistant, contact HopSkipDrive's Specialty Transportation Team immediately at (281) 940-8349.

 

Follow the steps below to remove an assigned Rider Assistant from a ride:

  1. On the Rides page, select the desired ride.
     
  2. Under Rider Assistant, click Remove.


     
  3. The Rider Assistant will be notified by text message that they have been removed from the ride and the changes will be visible in the driver's app. Please assign a new Rider Assistant as soon as possible.
