The credit card on file will be charged approximately 4 hours after a ride is complete or immediately if the ride is canceled within 8 hours of the scheduled pickup time. Because of this and other processing delays, the timestamp for the charge on your bank statement may not match the date and time on which the ride took place.
To ensure your payment can be processed successfully, HopSkipDrive places a pre-authorization hold for the amount of the ride on the card on file 8 hours before the ride. You will be notified via email if this pre-authorization hold fails. Learn more here.
