What is the caregiver cancellation policy?

As a caregiver, you can cancel a ride through the mobile app or by text message. However, the following cancellation fees apply. 

If your rides are managed by a school district or other organization, you as the caregiver will not be charged for canceled rides.

You will not be charged for a canceled ride if:

  • The ride will not start for 8 or more hours
    OR
  • No CareDriver has claimed the ride

You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee if:

  • The ride will start in the next 8 hours and has already been claimed by a CareDriver.

You will be charged the full price for the ride if:

  • The ride will start in the next hour and has already been claimed by a CareDriver.
