Communication is important to ensure your safety and the safety of your riders.
There may be times when HopSkipDrive needs to reach you with an urgent update to the ride or to confirm our system is communicating properly. It is crucial that CareDrivers have a working phone whenever performing a ride and that they are able to pull over to a safe location and answer the calls from Safe Ride Support if there is a safety concern.
CareDrivers who fail to respond to calls from the Safe Ride Support team may receive follow-up communication and, in certain cases, risk temporary account suspension if the lack of responsiveness raises concerns about safety or platform communication standards.
In instances involving imminent risk or emergency, HopSkipDrive may take additional steps to ensure contact, such as follow-up calls, messages, or coordination with emergency responders as necessary.
We recommend adding the HopSkipDrive number to your contacts list: (844) 467-7547. If you have an iPhone, make sure the Silence Unknown Callers feature is turned off. To turn this feature off, go to Settings, then tap Phone. Scroll down and tap Silence Unknown Callers. Make sure the toggle switch is set to off.
