During a ride, you may receive a text message and push notification with the message below:
HopSkipDrive: Don't forget to let us know if you've arrived! Please tap I've arrived in the app when you reach your destination.
You'll receive these messages when our systems detect that you are at or near the destination and it is past your estimated arrival time but you have not yet marked I've arrived in the app. We send these messages as a friendly reminder to update your status in the app in case you've forgotten. Keeping your status up to date is an important part of our safety tracking and your on-time arrival rate.
What do to when you receive a reminder message:
- If you are at the location, tap I've arrived and continue with your ride. No other action is needed.
- If you haven't yet arrived, no action is needed. Please tap I've arrived as usual when you do reach the destination.
- If you are delayed and need help, contact support.
Why did I get two reminder messages?
Because updating your ride status is important to ride safety, we want to make sure you receive the reminder. We send the message via SMS (text) and as a push notification in case one method is not delivered.
