After you check in for a ride, you'll see a suggested leave time on the ride details screen.

The suggested leave time is intended to help you plan. However, you should still check traffic conditions and confirm when you'll need to leave to arrive on time. Additionally, keep in mind that the accuracy of the suggested leave time depends on accurate location tracking and may be impacted if you are in an area with poor service.
Leaving early
If you choose to leave before the suggested time, you will see a warning in the app. This warning is intended to prevent CareDrivers from accidentally leaving early, but you are welcome to leave early as needed.
If you arrive at pickup early, please keep the following in mind:
-
Wait until the scheduled pickup time to pick up the Rider. You'll see a warning if you are picking up the Rider early.

- Don't tap I Can't Find the Rider until after the scheduled pickup time.
- Do not drop a Rider off early. This could cause a safety issue.
Leaving early for unfamiliar locations
Our data shows that picking up and dropping off riders at unfamiliar locations often takes a few minutes longer as CareDrivers navigate new routines and conditions. For locations you have not driven to before, you'll see a message in the app suggesting that you leave a few minutes early if you are able to.
