We appreciate our CareDrivers! CareDriver Rewards is a program to recognize top CareDrivers with exclusive perks. 

Every three months, you'll earn a Rewards tier of Standard, Elite, or Gold based on the number of points you've accumulated and your CareDriver Trends rating. Earn points based on the number of rides you complete. When you reach Elite or Gold, unlock exclusive perks!

How do I earn points?

You must maintain an average CareDriver Trends rating of Good or better to be eligible for Gold or Elite. Earn points by completing rides. Rides you complete as a Primary CareDriver are worth more. 

CareDriver Trends rating To be eligible for Elite or Gold, you must maintain an average overall CareDriver Trends rating of Good or better for the three-month period. 
Completing non-Primary CareDriver rides 3 points per ride 
Completing rides as a Primary CareDriver 4 points per ride


CareDriver Rewards tiers

Your current Rewards tier is based on the points you earned during the previous three-month period. You'll stay in that tier until the beginning of the next three-month period, when your next tier will take effect. 

Each three-month period, you'll be awarded one of the following tiers based on the points you've earned. You can earn more points to move to a higher tier during the next period or to maintain the Rewards tier you're currently in. 

See an example:

This CareDriver started in the Standard tier. During that three-month period, they earned enough points to reach the Gold tier. At the start of the next three-month period, the Gold tier perks became available to them. 

During Period 2, they earned fewer points. They continued to be eligible for Gold perks until the end of that period, but at the start of the next period they were in the Standard tier. However, based on the points this CareDriver earned in Period 3, they will be eligible for Elite perks during the next three-month period!

Standard

All CareDrivers start in the Standard tier. CareDrivers in the Standard tier are eligible for the following perks:

  • Milestone Rewards: earn a surprise reward as you reach ride milestones.

Gold

Way to go! Gold tier CareDriver are among the top drivers. To reach the Gold tier, you must maintain an average CareDriver Trends rating of Good or better and earn the number of points listed for Gold in your app. This number will vary depending on where you drive and may vary from period to period. 

CareDrivers in the Gold tier receive the following perks:

  • Milestone Rewards: earn a surprise reward as you reach ride milestones. Learn more about Milstone Rewards here. 

  • Avibra+: Earn free access to additional perks. All eligible CareDrivers currently have access to the Avibra Core Perks. As a Gold tier CareDriver, earn access to Avibra+, which offers one free credit to select one perk from the Avibra Dollar Perks store at no additional cost to you.   • Upside: earn cash back and discounts at various gas stations, restaurants, convenience stores, and more. Learn more about how Upside works and how to sign up here.


Elite

To reach the Elite tier, you must maintain an average CareDriver Trends rating of Good or better and earn the number of points listed for Elite in your app. This number will vary depending on where you drive and may vary from period to period. 

CareDrivers in the Elite tier receive the following perks:

  • Milestone Rewards: earn a surprise reward as you reach ride milestones. Learn more about Milestone Rewards here. 

  • Avibra+: Earn free access to additional perks. All eligible CareDrivers currently have access to the Avibra Core Perks. As a Gold tier CareDriver, earn access to Avibra+, which offers one free credit to select one perk from the Avibra Dollar Perks store at no additional cost to you. Learn more here. 

  • Upside: earn cash back and discounts at various gas stations, restaurants, convenience stores, and more. Learn more about how Upside works and how to sign up here.

  • Claim rides 8 days in advance: get early access to claim the rides that work best for you. As an Elite CareDriver, you'll be able to see and claim available rides 8 days before the ride. Rides are still released to the marketplace at the usual time. 


How are point targets set?

In CareDriver Rewards, you'll see a target point amount listed for each tier. 

The point thresholds for each tier are specific to the metro area where you drive and the time of year. For each three-month period, the Elite tier is calculated to represent approximately the top 5% of CareDrivers in the area and the Gold tier represents approximately the top 15% of drivers in the area. 

By setting point targets based on where you drive, we ensure that you are rewarded for excellence regardless of how many rides and Ride Series are available to claim. 

   CareDriver Rewards during the summer: during the summer months, point targets for each tier are adjusted to account for the fact that there are fewer rides available to claim. 

How do I track my CareDriver Rewards progress?

To see your current tier and track your points, open the CareDriver Rewards section in your CareDriver app. To access the Rewards section, select CareDriver Rewards on the side menu.

At the top of the CareDriver Rewards section, you'll see your current CareDriver Rewards tier, which is based on the points you earned during the previous three-month period.

Below your current status, you can also track your progress for the next three-month period. The progress bar shows the points you have earned so far and the points required for each tier in your area. 

You can also confirm whether you've met the tier requirements. A green check mark indicates that you have met the requirement. 

How do I access my CareDriver Rewards perks?

Learn how to access CareDriver Rewards perks below:

  • Milestone Rewards: once you've reached a Milestone, look for an email with instructions for redeeming your prize. Learn more about Milestone Rewards here. 

  • Avibra+: to access your Avibra+ perks, first sign up for Avibra in the CareDriver app. Once you become eligible, your Avibra+ perks will be automatically credited to your account. Learn more here. 

  • Upside: to access your Upside perks, create an Upside account using the email address associated with your CareDriver account, then enter the promo code you will receive from HopSkipDrive via email. Perks will become available once you are eligible. Learn more here. 

  • Claim rides 8 days in advance: once you become eligible, you will start to see rides available in the marketplace 8 days ahead of the ride day. Learn more here.
