Yes, we do many checks on potential CareDrivers before allowing them to drive on our platform.
In addition to being fingerprinted and passing a background check, HopSkipDrive requires each CareDriver to have at least 5 years of caregiving experience. Most CareDrivers are parents, teachers, or nannies. We also require CareDriver vehicles to pass a 19-point inspection performed by a certified mechanic. HopSkipDrive also checks with the DMV and requires a completely clean driving record.
