Riders are not permitted to make changes to the scheduled route under any circumstances. Pickup and drop-off locations are determined by the Ride Organizer, and cannot be changed by the rider for safety reasons.
CareDrivers must transport riders directly to the drop-off location in the app following the scheduled route. No unauthorized stops are permitted; this includes but is not limited to stops for food, gas, to charge the vehicle, to put air in the tires, or to use the bathroom. If changes must be made while a ride is in progress, you will be contacted by HopSkipDrive support or will see the changes reflected in the CareDriver app.
No individuals other than the listed CareDriver and rider(s) can accompany anyone on the ride.
If a rider or caregiver is requesting a route change, a different drop-off location than what is requested in the app, or for an additional passenger to be transported on the ride, please call Safe Ride Support at 844-HOP-SKIP before making any changes to the ride.
