When attempting to contact a Rider, Caregiver, or Ride Organizer through the CareDriver app, you may see the following message:
Automated reply: The number you are using is not recognized by our system. Please contact support to resolve this issue. DO NOT REPLY to this message.
You will receive this message when the phone number you are using to text someone through the HopSkipDrive app is not associated with a HopSkipDrive account. This can happen for the following reasons:
- The phone number you used to sign up for HopSkipDrive is a Google Voice number or similar VoIP service. To resolve this issue so you are able to contact other HopSkipDrive users, email driversupport@hopskipdrive.com to update the phone number on your account to your cell phone number.
- iPhone users will see this error when the Show my caller ID option is turned off. Turn this setting on to enable the system to recognize your number. Click here for instructions from Apple Support.
