To unlock rides in Kansas City, Kansas, drivers must obtain the Kansas State Fingerprinting (KSF) Advanced Qualification. This qualification requires drivers to be fingerprinted by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and complete a Child Abuse and Neglect Screening.
To obtain the KSF Advanced Qualification, follow the steps below:

Schedule a fingerprinting appointment following the instructions in your applicant portal.

Please bring the following with you to the appointment:
- A photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport)
- A check or money order for $57 made out to KBI Record Check Fee Fund (HopSkipDrive will credit you for the cost of fingerprinting after it is complete)
- The FBI Waiver, which you will fill out at the appointment

After the fingerprinting appointment, we will email you instructions to fill out your Kansas Child Abuse and Neglect form.
- Receive your KSF Advanced Qualification. Rides will be unlocked once you have cleared fingerprints and the Child Abuse and Neglect Screening.
