Location instructions
Location instructions are notes written by the Ride Organizer with details about how to find the location, where to pick up or drop off riders, and any special steps that may be needed.
Rider details
Rider details are information provided by the Ride Organizer or the caregiver and give details or helpful information about the rider.
You may see the following categories of rider details:
Physical Safety: information that is critical to the rider's physical safety, such as allergies. This information is highlighted in a red box. Be sure to read this information before picking up the rider.
Communication needs: information about a rider's communication needs. Refer to this information to understand how to communicate with the rider effectively.
Notes: Ride Organizers can also provide additional notes about a rider that may be helpful during a ride, including more information about needs noted above.
Where to find location instructions and rider details
You can access location instructions and rider details throughout the ride. We encourage you to check them before beginning the ride and at each step to ensure you follow them accurately.
Before checking in for a ride, you can see location instructions for all pickup and drop-off locations and rider details. Tap Review more rider details to see all rider notes and needs.
During the ride, you'll see location instructions and rider notes when you arrive at the pickup and drop-off locations. Scroll to see complete notes.
When in doubt, never leave a rider alone at the drop-off location. Please call Safe Ride Support at 844-HOP-SKIP or the Ride Organizer via the app to confirm.
