What are Advanced Qualifications?
Some states and school districts require CareDrivers to obtain specific qualifications in order to drive their riders. HopSkipDrive calls these Advanced Qualifications. Adding additional Advanced Qualifications to your profile can increase your earning potential on the HopSkipDrive platform by making more rides available.
In order to obtain an Advanced Qualification, CareDrivers must complete a process outlined by HopSkipDrive. These processes can range from attending a single in-person event to getting an additional background check or medical screening.
How do I know which rides require an Advanced Qualification?
When reviewing available rides, you'll see some rides that are locked. The rides will list the Advanced Qualification. Click the ride to see detailed information about how to obtain the required Advanced Qualification.
How do I obtain an Advanced Qualification?
You can review the Advanced Qualifications you currently have and see what additional Advanced Qualifications are available in the CareDriver app. Follow the steps below to review your current Advanced Qualifications and acquire additional Advanced Qualifications.
- In the side menu, tap View Profile.
- Tap Advanced Qualifications.
- In the Available list, you can see Advanced Qualifications available in your area that you have not yet qualified for. Tap Learn more on an available Advanced Qualification to see more information about how to obtain it.
