When there is inclement weather that creates unsafe driving conditions, HopSkipDrive may declare a snow day and cancel all rides in the affected area. This is generally due to snow or ice, but can include emergency closures for any reason.

How will I know if a snow day has been declared?
If we declare a snow day, we will alert you via text message and will cancel your ride(s) for you. HopSkipDrive snow day cancellations are not bound by the cancellation policy. Parents will not be charged for canceled rides, nor will you be compensated for these cancellations. We want to ensure all riders and CareDrivers stay safe and avoid potentially dangerous driving conditions.
