If you're moving to a new city where HopSkipDrive operates, you may continue driving with HopSkipDrive. In order to drive in a new area, you must complete all certification requirements for that location. Your account may be paused while you complete those requirements.
If you are moving to an area where HopSkipDrive does not currently operate, your account will be deactivated. You will be able to become recertified if HopSkipDrive expands to your area or if you move back to an area where HopSkipDrive operates.
You can find a list of areas where HopSkipDrive operates here.
What to do if you're moving
Follow the steps below if you plan to move to a new city:
- Contact CareDriver Support by phone or email with the location you will be moving to and the approximate date of your move. We recommend doing this as far in advance as possible, as you may be able to complete all certification requirements before you move and be able to start driving immediately.
- CareDriver Support will confirm that HopSkipDrive operates in the area you're moving to and help you understand what certification requirements you'll need to complete to become eligible to drive in the new area.
- Once you are certified in your new location, you can begin driving.
