Sacramento County requires CareDrivers to complete the state Child Abuse Prevention training to be able to claim their rides. The Child Abuse Prevention training is an online course that takes between 20 minutes and two hours to complete. To pass the course, you must take an exam and receive a score of 80% or better.
Please note that this training is created by the State of California, and the content is not in HopSkipDrive’s control. If you have a reasonable suspicion that a rider has been, or is in danger of, abuse or neglect, please first report it to Child Protective Services (CPS) or Adult Protective Services (APS) and inform HopSkipDrive that you have done so.
