Follow the steps below to request credit for a toll:
- When you are billed for a toll that qualifies for a credit, pay the toll as usual through the toll service provider.
-
No later than 60 days after the toll was incurred, submit the Request for Credit form. Submit one form per toll charge. You may need to log in to your online toll account to see itemized charges by date.

HopSkipDrive will review the request and credit you for all approved tolls. Keep in mind that large numbers of requests will take longer to process.
Terms and Conditions:
HopSkipDrive CareDriver eligibility and approval is determined at the sole discretion of HopSkipDrive and is not promised. Eligibility and approval is subject to HopSkipDrive’s Terms of Use. HopSkipDrive reserves the right to deny any credit request in the event of suspected fraud or abuse and is not responsible for processing requests that include incorrect information or where the file upload was not successful.
CareDrivers must let no longer than 60 days from incurring a toll pass before they request to be credited for said toll. Any toll that is requested to be credited but is submitted later than the 60 day period allotted will be denied.
It is the CareDriver’s responsibility to create and maintain an account with their local toll service provider. HopSkipDrive does not assume any responsibility in the event a CareDriver neglects to maintain their account in good standing. HopSkipDrive will only process credit requests that show proof of payment for the requested tolls. Any violation, penalty, interest, or insufficient funds fees WILL NOT be credited.
Priority is decided by week of request, then number of tolls, then time of request. A large request of 10 or more tolls will take longer to review and thus it will be held until requests made in the same week and whose total toll count is under 10 tolls have been reviewed. This is done to expedite the review process as a whole.
When submitting a request and attaching a statement, it is the CareDriver’s responsibility to make clear which tolls are being requested for credit in the file submission. This will help to ensure that the tolls will be reviewed and approved/disapproved in a timely manner. If the CareDriver neglects to do so, the request may take substantially longer to review or be denied.
Credit requests are only valid if all fields in the Request for Credit form have been filled out correctly and a valid file submission has been attached. If there is misinformation or an attempted fraudulent submission, CareDrivers may not receive approval for their request.
Eligible credits may vary by location, and may be changed in HopSkipDrive’s discretion. You can find out if your location has any exceptions by visiting the Request for Credit form.
