Onboarding cost credits for CareDrivers
As a new CareDriver, you may be eligible for credits to help cover certain costs associated with the onboarding process.
Eligibility for onboarding credits
To qualify for onboarding credits, you must meet the following criteria:
- Successfully complete all onboarding and certification requirements in your area.
- Complete your first ride with HopSkipDrive.

What onboarding costs can be credited?
HopSkipDrive may offer credits for certain approved expenses incurred during the onboarding process, such as:
- Background checks
- Fingerprinting
- Required safety or training courses
- Vehicle inspections
Approved expenses may vary by region.
How to request an onboarding credit
Once you've completed your first ride with HopSkipDrive, you can request credits for eligible onboarding expenses by following these steps:
- Complete your first ride with HopSkipDrive.
- Submit a credit request form for each onboarding-related expense.
- Be sure to include supporting documentation such as receipts or invoices with each request.

Important reminders:
- A separate form is required for each credit request.
- Credit requests must be submitted within 60 days of completing your first ride.
- Processing typically takes up to 2 business days after your submission is received.
