In accordance with state requirements, CareDrivers must display two HopSkipDrive decals (stickers) on their vehicles during every ride. In addition to these required decals, HopSkipDrive provides additional gear and suggests other useful items to bring with you on the ride as a best practice.

Decals (provided by HopSkipDrive)
Many local regulations require CareDrivers to display decals visibly on the bottom right corner of front and rear windshields, or as per state requirements. Failure to comply may lead to penalties from local authorities or denial of pickups, which won't be compensated. If you haven't yet received your decals, you can print out temporary decals here. If you need to replace your decals, please contact us at driversupport@hopskipdrive.com to request a free set of replacement decals. Insurance
You must always have your vehicle registration, proof of your personal insurance, and HopSkipDrive's insurance with you while driving.
Suggested gear
The following equipment is strongly encouraged, but not required.
Booster seats
Booster seats are required when driving riders who are marked as needing one. However, you are not required to accept rides that require a booster seat. Learn more about how to add a booster seat to your profile here.
HopSkipDrive t-shirts (provided by HopSkipDrive)
Branded HopSkipDrive t-shirts are an important way to clearly identify yourself as a CareDriver, increasing safety for riders and making it easier for riders and caregivers to quickly find you.
All new CareDrivers will receive a promo code to claim a free t-shirt after completing their first ride. We strongly encourage CareDrivers to wear the shirts, but wearing a HopSkipDrive shirt is not mandatory and is not a uniform.
Hands-free cell phone mount (provided by HopSkipDrive)
Phone mounts are a great way to ensure you can navigate and communicate with HopSkipDrive's support team safely, and will help maintain your safe driving statistics. After completing your first ride, you will receive a code to claim a free hands-free mount. HopSkipDrive encourages CareDrivers to use them.
Car charger for your cell phone
Using the CareDriver app and being able to communicate with HopSkipDrive's Safe Ride Support team during the ride are fundamental to successfully performing a ride. You should always carry a car charger for your phone to ensure you have a working phone throughout the ride.
