How Do I Recertify my Paused Account?
April 11 2024 8:24pmWhen your CareDriver account is paused, you cannot claim or complete rides with HopSkipDrive. When you open the CareDriver app, you will see a message similar to the one below saying that your account is paused and telling you what you need to do to recertify your account and begin claiming rides again.
To recertify your account, complete the actions listed in the app. This could include: submitting updated documentation, verifying that you have completed required car repairs, or other steps depending on the reason your account was paused.
How long will it take to recertify my account?
The time to recertify your account will vary depending on the reason your account was paused. Any uploaded documents must be reviewed and approved before your account can be recertified, and in some cases reports and other checks may need to be reprocessed. Expect recertification to take approximately one week after you complete all requirements.
We will send you a message when your account is recertified and you're able to start claiming rides again.
We understand that losing access to the platform while paused can be frustrating, so we strongly encourage CareDrivers to plan ahead to avoid being paused unnecessarily.
How can I avoid having my account paused?
While circumstances out of your control may result in a paused account, you can limit the chances of being paused by making sure you:
- Submit new documents before your old documents expire
- Plan ahead to switch to a vehicle that meets vehicle age requirements when needed
- Keep up to date with regular vehicle repairs to limit the chances of unexpected car trouble
