Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Advanced Qualification
April 6 2023 5:06pm • Est. Read Time: 2 MINSome districts require CareDrivers to have a Tuberculosis risk assessment in order to claim their rides. You can identify rides that require this Advanced Qualification because they have a blue Tuberculosis Screening tag.
CareDrivers are responsible for any costs associated with the Tuberculosis (TB) Advanced Qualification.
A Tuberculosis (TB) risk assessment is a questionnaire to assess TB risk that does not require a skin test. A clear TB risk assessment screening is enough to qualify for this Advanced Qualification.
If the risk assessment is not clear, you can qualify for the Advanced Qualification with a negative TB test. Learn more about how to obtain a TB Risk Assessment or TB skin test/x-ray below.
Note: In Virginia you must complete a TB skin test/ x-ray in order to obtain this qualification. A risk assessment is not sufficient. |

If you have a current negative TB test, you can submit it using this form. HopSkipDrive considers TB tests current if they are less than two years old. While specific schools and organizations may have varying requirements (ranging from one to five years) HopSkipDrive enforces a two-year policy.
